Cheesy Beans!

It took me 28 years to realize that pinto beans...... are refried beans! I LOVE them homemade!! I cook a crock pot full (one bag, about $.60) then, add 6 slices of cheese and some salt. YUM!

Butternut Squash Casserole

This recipe had alot of good reviews, so we gave it a try. I personally LOVED it! The kids ate it, but thats about it. Im not sure what is wrong with them :-) It was sweet and soft with crunch on top.
My kids also dont like sweet potatoes, which I love. If you like sweet potatoes, you will enjoy this!
RECIPE
ps. I used 1.5 packs of saltines instead of vanilla wafers, so my topping was much fuller and crunchier!

Corn Dogs!!

Hannah claims all the other kids were jealous of her lunch, when she pulled out her homemade corn dog! I gotta admit, they turned out pretty darn good!
